Bio

Eva was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but moved to Canada in the mid-'90s because of the Balkan conflicts. She developed a love for cinema, music and drawing at a very young age and pursued those passions through animation at Concordia University.

Always curious, Eva explored many animation techniques, from stop-motion, to under-the camera and traditional 2d animation. She tried pretty much everything, except for 3d animation, which she will surely try one day. For now, she is sticking to hands-on approaches because she really, really likes to play.

Thankfully, Eva has not yet created her masterpiece and in the future, she hopes to find a way to bridge the gap between the art world and everyday life, to reach and inspire worldwide communities through the magic and playful nature of animation and film.
